PR1. Mapping Inmates’ Motivation Assessment and Enrolment Strategies

The project developed a tool that can be used by prison and training services to assess inmates’ motivation and assist them in adhering to VET programmes. The identification of inmates’ motivation needs will support VET providers and prison services in promptly gauging inmates’ willingness to participate.

Using the insightful information obtained from the mapping tool, trainers will have access to a set of recommendations for tailored enrolment strategies that align with each inmate’s requirements, ensuring the successful completion of the training.

PR2. Enrolment and motivation Virtual
Reality resource

This output focuses on the design of virtual scenarios to induct inmates in the available VET courses. The scenarios provide an opportunity to visualise the outcomes of the available training options, resulting in an informed decision and motivated enrolment.

The educators, trainers, and other practitioners and institutions/organisations involved in VET deployment will provide key insights about inmates’ decision drive and motivation from the piloting.

PR4. Train the Trainers (ToT)

Lastly, project partners have developed a free e-Learning course entitled "Vocational Training with Virtual Reality for Inmate Employment", designed to train VET professionals (such as trainers and educators, prison professionals, etc.) on how to employ the VISION methodology.

This course offers professionals the opportunity to acquire knowledge on Virtual Reality within prison settings using a training programme, pedagogical and learning resources developed throughout the project.
